Why did camera manufacturers adopt a closed proprietary Microsoft file system?

You have things a little confused here. Ask yourself why all the digital camera makers use their own proprietary file structure. Every friggin digital cam mfg uses a different file type for their images and videos. They arent even compatible with each other! How do you expect them to be compatible with anything else? Their software has to convert their file formats to something a computer understands. Now you talk fan boy, the bottom line is since 95 percent of the users out their are buying Pcs, what do you think the mfgs are going to design their software around? If you bought a Mac, you have simply compounded the problem. Now you need to ask yourself why Apple has to have been a proprietary system for over 25 years. The math alone speaks for itself. If you are a Mac fan boy, look at the truth here. Why does Apple have to be so incompatible with the rest of the world?

Im jealous of my cousin?

we're both in 10th grade and go to the same school and are super close! We look like twins except different fave shapes and her hair is short and mines long, and that shes taller than me and im a little shorter. She always gets flirts by guys and knows ALOT of people and like all the guys love her. its like everytime we walk to cl a guy stops by her and hugs her and says hi. i dont have that many friends but shes liike sooo liked and i just like known as her adorable cousin..how can i stop feeling this wya? help!

Undergrip for Tennis Problem?

I have a black undergrip and I tend to put stress on all parts of my hand when I play tennis. As time goes by I notice that I have a lot of callus' even though I have been playing tennis for quite some time and my hand is as rough as sandpaper. I also notice that my hand is like super black as well and it hurts after 2 hours of play. I don't like overgrips because it creates thicker dimensions onto my grip which I don't prefer because I like my tennis handles to be relatively small. Is there anyway to avoid this or any overgrips you have in mind that are really thin?

Is this extortion from my employer?

I work for one of the two giant satellite entertainment providers in the United States. I'm not going to name which one. They have recently told employees to get their service "or else". I've gone to HR and asked if that means I'll lose my job if I refuse and they basically confirmed that I will be fired. We have until a certain date to get it or we will lose our jobs. It was not in any contract I signed or in any employment prerequisite. Is this legal? Is it not extortion? I work in a right to work state with very few/no employee protection laws.

Why can't I wirelessly connect a wireless router to another?

Friend has an internet connection. Friend broadcasts his network wirelessly using b+g. I don't have wired connection. He suggests that I poach his wireless. Only from one place in my office can I see his network. I want to connect from my laptop to my wireless router to his wireless router to his internet. My laptop to my router: check. His router to his internet: check.
